A meeting on Heat Recovery Technology was held on October 11, 2022 at the Human Deputy of the Department of Environment (DoE). In the meeting, the representatives from the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Planning and Budget Organization, the Cement Association, National Air Center and Climate Change- DoE, and BCRC/SCRC attended. The BCRC/SCRC presented the center activities and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology and the possibility of applying this technology to the cement plants. The other representatives shared their experiences with the Heat Recycling Technology, and they also emphasized on using ORC technology in the cement plants. Furthermore, it was proposed to set up a technical committee in order to evaluate and review the costs related to investment in the ORC technology.
