An agreement have been signed with the Department of Environment of Iran to technical support of relevant activities with BCRC-SCRC Iran as follow:
- Technical support to review of studies on locating industrial and special waste disposal and landfill sites for 3 provinces
- Technical support for Developing a standard for biochar production for the purpose of principled management of agricultural waste
- Technical support for Proper environmental management of acid sludge waste and development of national standards for products derived from their environmental recycling
- Technical support to Review and development of environmental criteria for waste management in laboratory science centers
- Supporting the Capacity Building for Effective Implementation of the Minamata Convention with a Focus on Mercury Release Inventory – Phase I
