Brief description of the project

To increase the productivity and the proper performance of processing lines and due to the problems caused by the depreciation and wear of existing line, construction of 4 new processing lines following the required capacity, optimal efficiency, and equipment put in the RDF agenda. According to downstream technologies such as anaerobic digestion and pyrolysis, the line’s design was predicted in a way to respond to the future needs of the technology.

In the development plan of processing lines for the daily processing of 1000 tons of waste in Isfahan, 4 processing lines were predicted which are active with a capacity of at least 250 tons per day. After the reception hall, respectively consists of slate equipment, bag opener, first rotating sieve, second rotating sieve, ballistic sieve, magnet, manual separation lines, as well as conveyors for transporting organic and inorganic materials.

The project advantages included:

  • Increase the line availability to more than 98%.
  • Reduce maintenance and repairs costs/ Reduce burial rates to at least 20%/ Increase the separation of recyclable materials by at least 100%/ Improving the work environment of manual separation operators and respect human dignity/ Job creation and workspace for at least 50 people per each line/ using bag opening equipment and reduce the glass amount in the compost/ using bag opening equipment and reduce damage to recycled materials/ Using the second rotating sieve and increasing the separation of organic matter and finally the produced compost/ Use of ballistic screening and improve recycled items separation/ Increasing organic matter purity for downstream industries / Improving the separation of ferrous metals/ reduce energy consumption /  Predict the deployment of up-to-date equipment in the future.
