Waste storage is one of the most important elements of waste management which due to the transfer of executive management to municipalities and inclusion of “storage” from the set of responsibilities of executive management according to the law on waste management, the municipality has responsibilities in this regard. In addition to conserving resources and reducing environmental pollution and related costs, it reduces health pollution and mixing it with wet waste. Separating wet and dry waste consequently reduces the contamination and spread of diseases through the dry waste that will be recycled and reused. Preventing wet and dry waste mixing is of particular importance in terms of hygiene regulations.
