Integrating Gender Dimensions into National Action Plans for Artisanal and Small-scale Gold Mining

The UNEP Global Mercury Partnership and its Area of work on Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining (ASGM) will organize on Thursday 17 June 2021, from 15:00-16:30 CEST a webinar to discuss gender mainstreaming into National Action Plans (NAPs).

The event will present an overview of gender aspects related to ASGM, explore challenges of integrating gender dimensions into the ASGM sector, share information and discuss recommendations and best practices for considering gender when developing and implementing ASGM NAPs to meet the requirements of the Minamata Convention on Mercury (Article 7, Annex C).
